Our Open-source contributions

While building the glific we use some other open source packages and also contributed to them for the community. Some of them are listed below.

PasswordlessAuth

We use this package to generate and send the OTP from our app. But this package was specific for a twilio integration, we worked with the owner and made it generic so that anybody can link their API with the package.

Oban

We use this package to schedule some our processes. We made some enhancements in this package as well.

PhilColumns

We used this to manage the seeders on our release. The package was outdated and incompatible with the latest elixir/phoenix version. So made the changes and made it compatible with the latest release.

Flow Editor

This is the most interesting and useful package. We use this for managing the flow. This package is not built to integrate into the other packages yet, the author is still working on that, we made some changes and are using that in our package now.

ColoredCow is a valuable partner with Project Tech4Dev. Specifically, ColoredCow is a founding member of Glific – an open-source two- way communication platform which is built in Elixir and React and the team has great skills on both the technologies. An amazing team that goes above and beyond what is required of them. We started off with 3 people and now have 6 people from ColoredCow on the project.
